A new regional tourism partnership agreement was announced on April 7th, 2008. This agreement reflects the commitment of the Ministère du Tourisme, Outaouais Tourism and the Conférence régionale des élus de l’Outaouais (CREO) to enter into a partnership  in order to optimise the investments in tourism according to the regional priorities and as such, create a leverage effect for the tourism development of the Outaouais region.

Today’s signed agreement represents sums of $1,500,000, over a period of four years. These monies will be awarded through the call for project proposal, managed by the Tourism Development Program of the Outaouais.

Please refer to the Promoter’s handbook to find out more about the program’s conditions of the Program. The deadline for the first round of projects is May 12th, 2008, at 4:30 PM. A second round is set for September 15th, 2008.
