  MUST-SEE! MUST-DO!

If this is your first visit to the region, there are certain activities you shouldn’t miss…

8:30am: Guided tour of Gatineau (formerly Hull) and Ottawa. You can do this by bus, boat or both with an amphibian vehicle.

10am: Visit one of our national museums (allow at least two hours):

  1. The Canadian Museum of Civilization, the most popular cultural attraction in Canada
  2. The National Gallery of Canada, which features the most impressive collections of Canadian and European art in the country
  3. The Canadian Museum of Nature, the largest museum of natural history in Canada

12:30pm: Lunch

2:30pm: Gatineau Park (15 minutes from downtown). Throughout the year, Gatineau Park is a true paradise for nature-lovers. Here, you will find a wide variety of lakes and forests, and you can enjoy hiking, swimming, cycling and speleology, as well as guided excursions.

5:30pm: Back to the hotel.

6pm: Dinner

8pm: Take in a show at the new Théâtre du Casino, then spend the rest of the evening trying your luck at the Casino du Lac-Leamy, with its 63 gaming tables and 1,870 slots machines.
